Our Governance
We are a group of voluteers who came together in July 2022 with a vision to organise a Pride event for Highbridge and Burnham-on-Sea for the summer of 2023.
We are set up as a Community Group and hold a bank account in the name of POSE (Pride on Sea Events).
We all have an agile mindset and choose to work as a collective, managing the tasks and work we have to do rather than having set roles within a structure.
This means we can be more flexible in our approach and make quick decisions about Pride without needing to take everything back to a committee, unless we all really need to agree on something. We all trust that any decision we make will be in the best interests of Pride-on-Sea and the community, and we are all able to pick things up and progress working towards a fabulous, inclusive Pride Event that you can all enjoy.
